The point of sale is linked to the diary and the client records. Quotes and invoices carry your brand. For France, payments go through an NF525-certified point of sale, in partnership.
From appointment to receipt
The appointment ends and the bill is already prepared: the service, the team member, the client. You add a product, a discount, you take payment, and the receipt goes out by email or prints.
The client record keeps the basket and the date. Your statistics update.
NF525 certification, in partnership
In France, point-of-sale software must be certified. ODS Salon doesn’t hold its own certification: payments go through an already NF525-certified point of sale, integrated into your dashboard, in partnership. The certificate is that of the certified partner.
Outside France, NF525 certification doesn’t apply: you take payment and invoice from your dashboard.
Quotes and invoices in your branding
A quote for a bride and her bridesmaids, an invoice for a company treating its staff: you create them from your dashboard, with your logo and your colours, numbered and archived.
E-invoicing is included: in France, every VAT-registered business must be able to receive e-invoices from September 2026, and small businesses will have to issue them from September 2027.
What the point of sale sees
Revenue for the day, by team member, by service, by product; payment methods; gift cards redeemed; deposits deducted.
The figures are the same as in your invoices: one source, not two tables to reconcile.

Your questions
Why in partnership, rather than your own certification?
Because NF525 certification is granted after an audit, and a point of sale that’s already certified does that job better than we would on our own. We integrate it; we don’t reinvent it.
Do I need a card terminal?
To take card payments at the salon, yes. The point of sale records the payment method, whatever the terminal.
Can I start without the point of sale?
Yes. The point of sale is in the Complet plan. You can start with Vitrine or Salon and move to Complet the day you need it, without losing anything.
