Mother’s Day, a birthday, Christmas: the buyer picks an amount or a service, pays, and the card goes out by email, to them or straight to the person receiving it, with a personal note.
You weren’t at the salon. The money is in.
Paid before the visit
The card is paid for on the day of purchase; the service is delivered weeks later. In between, the money is with you.

Usable over several visits
A €100 card for a €65 treatment: the balance stays on the card, visible to the client and to you, until the next visit. You set the validity period.
At the salon, the card is found by its code, redeemed in one tap, and the client record keeps a trace of it.

Your questions
A card expires without having been used: what happens?
The card stays paid. The validity period you chose is written on the card that was sent; the buyer and the recipient know it from day one.
Can I sell a card at the salon, at checkout?
Yes. With the Complet plan, the point of sale issues and redeems cards. With the Salon plan, you create the card from your dashboard and take payment however you like.
Do I need an online shop to sell cards?
No. The gift card has its own button on your website from the Salon plan. The product shop, on the other hand, is in the Complet plan.
